Life

Life is busy these days, but whose isn't?
Here are a few pictures to enjoy.

This is what cooking supper/the witching hour looks like around here...
John Henry "helping"

My favorite thing in the entire world is bath time.

our little puppy dogs.

Libby enjoying the best part of a wedding (cake) - Jeremy's cousin recently tied the knot.
She danced every single song at the reception until we left.

John Henry being put through an impromptu photo shoot...

All ready for cowboy day at school.
Libby is holding Annie Apple - Keith has been replaced (see previous post)

me too.

First time to experience roasting marshmallows and s'mores...I think momma had the most fun.
In the background is Oreo or O-dog (Mimi and Pop's favorite child)

Our pumpkins this year, actually our first pumpkins ever. Jeremy and I always said we were going to carve a pumpkin, but since we have met this is the first time it has actually happened.

Fun at Mimi and Pop's house...

The other day Jeremy went to starbucks because we were out of coffee (not good)
He took Libby with him and got her a hot chocolate.
Picture her with a starbucks cup in hand, wearing this sweater jacket and her imposter uggs with a crazy pony tail.
It felt like we had a really short college student walking around.
Wild to think about starting kindergarten in just a few short years...

A few pictures-

This little guy melts my heart.

He is a barrel of monkeys...

Libby and Keith
just some background info for you....
-Keith is not a lion, he is a big boy.
-He goes with us to church and goes to the nursery with John Henry.
You must refer to Libby as "Keith's momma" not Libby.

It's a pleasant surprise when you re-enter a room and see your children playing nicely.

It is not so pleasant when you see your 9 month old scaling the Little Tikes play kitchen like its Mount Everest...

Allow me to introduce myself...

My name is John Henry...mom says I am the cutest thing ever...I have to say that she is right.

I love to watch my daddy mow the grass...

I also love to swing.

I think solid food is the real deal.

This is my dog, Hagan.
Since this whole solid food thing started he has come to realize the importance of my existence.

We are working on his boundaries...

I am all about the full eating experience..touching it with my hands...

then I do this weird stretching routine so my hair can have a taste too...

and I walk away fully satisfied, covered from head to toe & looking good.

These are my hunting buddies, Brooks and Riley...we are already discussing duck season 2017...
be afraid, be very afraid...

New Adventures

This summer has flown by, I can't believe that school is starting again. We have had such a great time with lots of fun things going on. Seeing Nathan and Jonathan and Maggie and Julia was a big highlight of the summer and in between visits we have had lots of new adventures.
We went down to Mr. Keith's house last weekend and Libby got to feed, pet and ride a horse. John Henry even got a chance to sit on him (Manni the horse) and loved it!

Our little cowboy

Mr. Keith was so patient and loved teaching Libby how to lead Manni.

She was so funny...treating the horse like any old dog....

and then brave enough to saddle up

Libby and Riley taking a ride

John Henry and Brooks in the Radio Flyer

A visit to Julian in the hospital turned into a play date, there were so many people there to see him.

While Jane and the girls were here, John Henry got baptized, we celebrated Libby's birthday, went swimming, Libby went to her first movie and just enjoyed our time together.
